Owen Hew vs Jordan Magnussen

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamin Promotions promoted show at Floyd Bendt Gym, Cleveland,  taking place on 05/08/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Hew (3 - 4) who hails from Columbus, USA and Jordan Magnussen(3 - 8 - 1) from Columbus, USA.  Hew weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Magnussen weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Sandford, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kumler, Mark Penning and Neil MacKenna.  

Round 1: 

Magnussen gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Magnussen throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Magnussen closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Magnussen steps inside.  Hew digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Magnussen advances into close range.  Hew pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hew tries to land a left hook, but Magnussen dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hew is looking to keep his distance.  Magnussen lands a jab.

Hew switches the action to the outside.  Magnussen stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Hew finds the target with a jab.
