Gus Carruthers vs Hayden Chalmers

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Nebraska Coliseum, Lincoln,  taking place on 15/09/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Carruthers (10 - 0) who hails from Miami, USA and Hayden Chalmers(15 - 4(1) - 3) from Houston, USA.  Both Carruthers and Chalmers weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Spence, and the three ringside judges are John Murray, Robert Coupland and Lucas Doyle.  

Round 1: 

Carruthers pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Carruthers pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Carruthers manages to force Chalmers into the corner.  Carruthers lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Carruthers lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Carruthers holds on to his opponent.  Carruthers leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Carruthers connects with a right hook.  Carruthers ties up his opponent.  Carruthers is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Carruthers's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Chalmers throws a right hook, but Carruthers holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Carruthers pushes his forearm into Chalmers's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Carruthers pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND SENDS CHALMERS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.
