Ljubomir Jurcic vs Miodrag Valjak

Boxing Daily Report from the Obad promoted show at Dvorana Mladosti, Rijeka,  taking place on 25/08/2035:

Clearly Obad have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Croatia-Primorje-Gorski Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ljubomir Jurcic (8(3) - 0) who hails from Rijeka, Croatia and Miodrag Valjak(3 - 2) from Rijeka, Croatia.  Jurcic weighed in at 232 pounds and 2 ounces, while Valjak weighed in at 234 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andro Bunic, and the three ringside judges are Stipe Mikacic, Dragan Vitez and Nediljko Mimica.  

Round 1: 

Jurcic pivots to the left of his opponent.  Valjak throws a right hook, but Jurcic clinches his opponent.  Jurcic pushes his forearm into Valjak's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Jurcic drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.  Jurcic ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jurcic pushes his forearm into Valjak's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Valjak dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Jurcic lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jurcic connects with a sharp right hook.  
Jurcic walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Jurcic pivots from in front of his opponent.  Jurcic is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  Jurcic attempts to land a right uppercut, but Valjak blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Jurcic advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jurcic backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Valjak is whaling away with hooks, but Jurcic keeps his defence tight.

Jurcic is on target with a sharp left hook to Valjak's ribs.  
Jurcic lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Jurcic closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Jurcic steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Jurcic lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Valjak tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Jurcic lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Valjak's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Valjak's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Valjak's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

You can sense Valjak is getting frustrated in there.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed south of the border! The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care! 
Jurcic steps inside.  Valjak pivots to the right of his opponent.  Jurcic drives a left uppercut into Valjak's body.  
Valjak throws a right uppercut, but Jurcic ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jurcic pushes his forearm into Valjak's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jurcic.  
Jurcic advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Jurcic holds on to his opponent.  Jurcic leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jurcic to stop holding.  
Jurcic lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Jurcic lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS VALJAK SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Jurcic whips in a spiteful left hook to Valjak's body.  VALJAK IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Valjak now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Valjak throws a right hook, but Jurcic ties up his opponent.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Jurcic to stop holding.  
Jurcic drives a stinging right uppercut into Valjak's body.  
Jurcic lands a right hook.  
Jurcic lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
The right shot from Jurcic could be enough to force the stoppage!  Jurcic slams a big left hook into Valjak's body.  VALJAK IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Jurcic lands a right uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES VALJAK!  The ref does not give Valjak the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Jurcic!
