Richard Clouston vs Roger Laidley

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 11/08/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richard Clouston (4 - 16 - 1) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Roger Laidley(3 - 2 - 5) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Clouston weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces, while Laidley weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd Rease, and the three ringside judges are Mike Sproule, Brin Stackpole and Hamahona Kurawhatia.  

Round 1: 

Laidley pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.
