Juan Leon vs Ramirez Barreda

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund,  taking place on 18/08/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SkyPerfec, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Leon (35(29) - 2) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Ramirez Barreda(16(7) - 5(4)) from Masaya, Nicaragua.  Leon weighed in at 107 pounds And 13 ounces, while Barreda weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Maik Daub, and the three ringside judges are Tibalt Hemmelgarn, Wilfredo Schaich and Richardson Kuschel.  

Round 1: 

Leon is on target with a firm overhand right.  
Barreda closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.

Leon lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Barreda almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Barreda cuts off the ring, trapping Leon on the ropes.  Leon slams a mean right hook into Barreda's ribs.  BARREDA IS HURT!  Barreda almost instantly recovers. 
Barreda digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Leon steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Leon lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Barreda closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Barreda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barreda attempts to land a cross, but Leon sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barreda's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Barreda's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Barreda manages to force Leon onto the ropes.  Barreda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barreda lands a solid left hook.  Barreda throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Barreda gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a WICKED cross.  BARREDA IS HURT!  Barreda recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
