Kenji Okubo vs Hiroki Kawano

Boxing Daily Report from the Carabetian Promotions promoted show at Kyoto Takemoto, Kyoto,  taking place on 28/07/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenji Okubo (13 - 20 - 2) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Hiroki Kawano(12 - 23(2) - 1) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Okubo and Kawano weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Tamashiro, and the three ringside judges are Jiro Tominaga, Kazuhiko Ozawa and Kazuhiko Anzai.  

Round 1: 

Kawano steps to the outside.  Okubo hits home with a cross.
