Michael MacIver vs Andrew Ruddock

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle,  taking place on 10/08/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western Europe Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael MacIver (22 - 12(4) - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Andrew Ruddock(16(6) - 1(1)) from Cardiff, UK.  Both MacIver and Ruddock weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harry Marchbank, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Duane, James Brys and Sam McClenny.  

Round 1: 

Ruddock closes the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but MacIver blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
MacIver steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Ruddock blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
