Hajime Shoda vs Dai Yokota

Boxing Daily Report from the Shungwa Promotions promoted show at Takeo Ota Gym, Funabashi,  taking place on 27/07/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Shoda (4 - 15 - 2) who hails from Ichikawa, Japan and Dai Yokota(7 - 18(1) - 1) from Chiba, Japan.  Shoda weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Yokota weighed in at 127 pounds.    As Yokota came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Michi Anzai, and the three ringside judges are Yoshi Nomura, Hiro Ueno and Mikio Gima.

Yokota steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  As Shoda tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Yokota dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Yokota.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
