Ervin Matic vs Quito Coria

Boxing Daily Report from the Obad promoted show at Arena Gripe Large Hall, Split,  taking place on 01/09/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Arena Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ervin Matic (19(15) - 2(1)) who hails from Split, Croatia and Quito Coria(18(5) - 10(5)) from Granada, Spain.  Both Matic and Coria weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Javor Buncic, and the three ringside judges are Ladislav Živko, Grga Arbanas and Mile Ban.  

Round 1: 

Matic lands a cross to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Matic attempts to land a left hook, but Coria slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Matic hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Matic lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Matic is on target with a right uppercut to Coria's ribs.  
Coria quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Matic tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Matic gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Coria blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Matic drives a right hook into Coria's body.  
Matic advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Matic is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Matic steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Matic is on target with a right hook.  
Matic EXPLODES a MASSIVE right hook into his opponents face.  CORIA IS HURT!  Coria quickly recovers. 
Matic quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid cross.  
Matic advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Matic tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Matic throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Matic steps inside.  Coria pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Matic lands two jab's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Coria lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Matic steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Matic throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Matic steps inside and drives a firm left hook into Coria's ribs.  Matic throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Coria finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Coria tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a mean left uppercut to Coria's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE CORIA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Matic finds the target with a jab.  
The right shot from Matic could be enough to force the stoppage!  Matic lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND CORIA IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Coria has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Matic closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Coria's body.  
Matic attempts to land a left uppercut, but Coria dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Matic lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Coria recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Matic steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Matic lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Matic drives a firm left hook into Coria's liver.  
Matic advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  Matic holds on to his opponent.  Matic pushes his forearm into Coria's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Matic.  
Coria tries to keep the action at long range.  Matic attempts to land a jab, but Coria sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Matic is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Coria has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Matic throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Matic is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Coria throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to Coria's body.  
Coria lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Matic closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Matic hits home with a right hook.  
Coria throws a left hook, but Matic clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Coria pushes his forearm into Matic's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Matic lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Matic is on target with a firm cross.  
Matic is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Coria pivots to the side of his opponent.  Matic lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Matic digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Matic tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Matic gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Coria almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Coria pivots to the left of his opponent.  Matic lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Matic ties up his opponent.  Matic leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Matic lands a FEARSOME left hook.  CORIA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Matic advances into close range and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Matic closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Coria steps to the outside.  Matic lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Matic lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Matic manouvers Coria onto the ropes.  Coria lands a jab.  Coria throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE CORIA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Coria almost instantly recovers. 
Matic is on target with a ramrod jab.

Matic lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND CORIA IS DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Matic!
