Harry Finn vs Danny Kinnison

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Swansea University International Sports Village, Swansea,  taking place on 21/07/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Celtic Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harry Finn (8(6) - 1) who hails from Swansea, UK and Danny Kinnison(14 - 15(5) - 3) from Cork, Ireland.  Both Finn and Kinnison weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Terry Lyons, Terry Lyons and Yasin Ozer.  

Round 1: 

Finn lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Finn gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Finn clinches his opponent.  Finn pushes his forearm into Kinnison's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kinnison throws a left hook, but Finn clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Finn pushes his forearm into Kinnison's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Finn is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kinnison throws a right hook, but Finn holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Kinnison tries to step out of his opponents range.  Finn lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Finn steps inside.  Kinnison pivots from in front of his opponent.  Finn drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Finn lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Kinnison tries to land a left hook, but Finn dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Finn steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kinnison's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kinnison's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kinnison's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Kinnison throws a left hook, but Finn holds on to his opponent.  Finn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Finn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Finn steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Finn ties up his opponent.  Finn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Finn lands with a hard jab.  
Finn connects with a sharp cross.  
Finn steps inside.  Finn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.

Finn closes the distance and manages to force Kinnison onto the ropes.  Finn tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Kinnison is looking to keep his distance.  Finn lands a cross.  
Finn closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Finn holds on to his opponent.  Finn is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Finn about fouling.  
Finn drives a solid right hook into Kinnison's ribs.  
Finn tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Finn lands a stinging cross.  
Finn advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Finn lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND DROPS KINNISON TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Finn senses Kinnison is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Finn lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES KINNISON!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Kinnison now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Finn forces Kinnison to retreat into a corner.  Finn connects with a VICIOUS right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KINNISON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kinnison quickly recovers. 
Finn is on target with a firm left hook to Kinnison's ribs.  
Finn lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Finn senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Kinnison and just needs the right shot.  Finn connects with a DESTRUCTIVE right hook.  DOWN GOES KINNISON!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Finn!
