Dale Mattas vs Ndumisa Shongwe

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 01/09/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Commonwealth Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dale Mattas (12(5) - 2 - 1(NC)) who hails from Perth, Australia and Ndumisa Shongwe(11(1) - 3 - 4) from Boksburg, South Africa.  Mattas weighed in at 112 pounds, while Shongwe weighed in at 111 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dan Nish, and the three ringside judges are Ian Corrie, Scott Martin and Jacob Stamos.
