Percy Oyer vs Max Elrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Asamoah Promotions promoted show at Floyd Johnston Gym, Quebec City,  taking place on 21/07/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Percy Oyer (20(3) - 17(6)) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Max Elrick(6 - 10(1) - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Oyer weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces, while Elrick weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Smith, and the three ringside judges are James Mabon, Louis Gillespie and James Dunlap.  

Round 1: 

Oyer lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Oyer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Oyer steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Elrick connects with a cross.  
Oyer steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Elrick feints a right, and then is on target with a jab.  
Oyer is on target with a left hook to Elrick's ribs.  
Oyer is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Oyer is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Elrick walks Oyer down, trapping him on the ropes.  Oyer lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Oyer finds the target with a sharp jab.

Round 2: 

Oyer lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Oyer is on target with a left uppercut.  Oyer wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Elrick.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Oyer closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Oyer steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Oyer forces Elrick to retreat into the corner.  Oyer lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Oyer lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  As Elrick tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Oyer dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Elrick throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Elrick pivots from in front of his opponent.  Oyer is on target with a cross.  
Oyer walks Elrick onto the ropes.  Oyer hits home with a right uppercut.
