Mel Forester vs Chris Caird

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Saskatchewan promoted show at Brad Gaw Gym, Saskatoon,  taking place on 21/07/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Saskatchewan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Forester (11 - 16 - 6) who hails from Regina, Canada and Chris Caird(7 - 14 - 6) from Saskatoon, Canada.  Forester weighed in at 147 pounds, while Caird weighed in at 146 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ollie Barmore, and the three ringside judges are Bob Tweed, Peter Reece and Rob Howden.  

Round 1: 

Caird gets on the inside.  Forester hits home with a right hook.  
Forester tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.
