Iago Rayo vs Kiki Pastrana

Boxing Daily Report from the Mashaba Promotions promoted show at Managua Ravelo, Managua,  taking place on 16/07/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nicaragua Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Iago Rayo (21 - 16(5) - 1) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Kiki Pastrana(11(10) - 6(2)) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Rayo weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Pastrana weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Mosso, and the three ringside judges are Enzo Vazquez, Agapetus Velazco and Carlos Barrientos.  

Round 1: 

Pastrana is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Pastrana clinches his opponent.  Pastrana is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pastrana to stop fouling.  
Pastrana gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Rayo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Pastrana lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Pastrana ties up his opponent.  Pastrana is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pastrana about fouling.  
Rayo throws a right hook, but Pastrana ties up his opponent.  Pastrana leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pastrana advances into close range and manages to force Rayo onto the ropes.  Pastrana is on target with a left hook to Rayo's body.  
Pastrana lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Pastrana lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Pastrana closes the distance.  Rayo throws a right hook, but Pastrana clinches his opponent.  Pastrana tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rayo behind the head.

Pastrana is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Pastrana holds on to his opponent.  Pastrana leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Pastrana throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Pastrana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Pastrana throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rayo finds the target with a jab.  
Pastrana gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rayo tries to land a jab, but Pastrana slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Pastrana lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Rayo switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but Pastrana parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Pastrana steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rayo switches the action to the outside.  Pastrana sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Pastrana is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Pastrana closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Pastrana ties up his opponent.  Pastrana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rayo steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Pastrana closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pastrana digs in a stinging right hook to Rayo's body.  
Pastrana hits home with a cross.  
Rayo tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Pastrana is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Pastrana lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Rayo recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Pastrana sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rayo wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pastrana dabs at his face checking for damage.  Rayo almost instantly recovers.
