Marco Barrientos vs Santiago Medel

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwei Promotions promoted show at Joaquin Calzadilla Gym, Valencia,  taking place on 15/07/2035:

Clearly Kwei Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad Valenciana Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marco Barrientos (9 - 12 - 3) who hails from Valencia, Spain and Santiago Medel(15 - 14(1) - 6) from Alicante, Spain.  Both Barrientos and Medel weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oihane Baena, and the three ringside judges are Jerrold Armando, Diego Cura and Zacarias Vallejos.  

Round 1: 

Barrientos steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand left.  
Medel throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Medel holds on to his opponent.  Barrientos throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Barrientos leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Barrientos attempts to land a jab, but Medel sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Medel gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.
