Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kazakhstan-Karagandy promoted show at Karagandy Abyckcassym, Karagandy,  taking place on 12/07/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kazakhstan-Karagandy Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waleed Merkulov (18(12) - 0) who hails from Karagandy, Kazakhstan and Kolzak Temirbulatow(14 - 15(6) - 7) from Karagandy, Kazakhstan.  Both Merkulov and Temirbulatow weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Maikeev, and the three ringside judges are Amer Umralieff, Zafa Urmebai and Fazil Merculoff.  

Round 1: 

Merkulov backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Temirbulatow is whaling away with hooks, but Merkulov keeps his defence tight.

Merkulov closes the distance and drives a solid left hook into Temirbulatow's body.  Merkulov throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Merkulov lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Temirbulatow pivots from in front of his opponent.  Merkulov lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Merkulov clinches his opponent.  Merkulov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Merkulov pushes his forearm into Temirbulatow's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Merkulov about fouling.  Temirbulatow almost instantly recovers. 
Merkulov lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Merkulov holds on to his opponent.  Merkulov is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Merkulov uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Temirbulatow behind the head. 
Merkulov switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Temirbulatow pivots from in front of his opponent.  Merkulov is on target with a cross.  
Merkulov gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  Merkulov clinches his opponent.  Merkulov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Temirbulatow pivots to the side of his opponent.  Temirbulatow attempts to land a left hook, but Merkulov sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Merkulov lands a firm cross.  
Merkulov advances into close range.  Temirbulatow sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Merkulov tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Merkulov is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Merkulov is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Merkulov steps inside.  Temirbulatow quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Merkulov lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Temirbulatow tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Merkulov connects with a firm right hook.

Merkulov lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Merkulov advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Merkulov closes the distance.  Temirbulatow sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Merkulov connects with a left hook.  
Merkulov is on target with a sharp cross.

Merkulov lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS TEMIRBULATOW SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Temirbulatow now seems to have his senses back.  
Merkulov closes the distance.  Temirbulatow pivots to the right of his opponent.  Temirbulatow throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Merkulov throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Temirbulatow hits home with a left hook.  
Merkulov closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Temirbulatow recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Merkulov attempts to land a left hook, but Temirbulatow slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Merkulov lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND TEMIRBULATOW IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Merkulov!
