Billy McAlexander vs Gianfranco De Silvestri

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 28/07/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the IRBF Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Billy The Real McCoy McAlexander (20(15) - 4(1)) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Gianfranco De Silvestri(21(13) - 2 - 1) from Prato, Italy.  McAlexander weighed in at 168 pounds, while De Silvestri weighed in at 167 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Barry Forbes, and the three ringside judges are Dave Evan, Dan Nish and Geoff Birnie.
