Kiki Barahona vs Carlos Penaloza

Boxing Daily Report from the Kirya Promotions promoted show at Carlos Caldera Gym, Ciudad Guayana,  taking place on 07/07/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Bolivar Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kiki Barahona (2 - 12 - 3) who hails from Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela and Carlos Penaloza(3 - 3(1) - 2) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  Both Barahona and Penaloza weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Malagon, and the three ringside judges are Selestino Borrego, Joaquin Abrigo and Vegas Lino.  

Round 1: 

Barahona gets on the inside.  As Barahona tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Penaloza dabs at his face checking for damage.
