Orlando Mesa vs Ximen Candela

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Puerto Plata promoted show at Puerto Plata Gym, San Felipe de Puerto Plata,  taking place on 05/07/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Puerto Plata Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Orlando Mesa (12 - 9 - 5) who hails from San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Ximen Candela(20 - 8 - 4) from San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.  Both Mesa and Candela weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Pino, and the three ringside judges are Jose Corbo, Frisco Belen and Macario Bartolome.  

Round 1: 

Candela closes the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Candela dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Candela lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Mesa attempts to land a jab, but Candela slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
