Kyland Piel vs Guido Abrigo

Boxing Daily Report from the Nicky Bonds promoted show at Silver Creek Sportsplex, San Jose,  taking place on 09/08/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyland Piel (21(18) - 0 - 1) who hails from Lubeck, Germany and Guido Abrigo(12(8) - 1) from Cuenco, Ecuador.  Both Piel and Abrigo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Josh Beltran, and the three ringside judges are Edward Danskin, Mark Rielly and John Edmundson.  

Round 1: 

Piel sidesteps to the left of his opponent and DETONATES a nasty left uppercut on his opponents face.  ABRIGO IS HURT!  
Piel steps away from his opponent.  Piel thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Abrigo away.  Piel lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING ABRIGO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  Abrigo now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Piel attempts to land a jab, but Abrigo sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Piel feints a right hook, and then lands a ramrod jab.  
Piel tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the head.  
Piel lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Abrigo quickly recovers. 
Piel lands a sharp cross.  
Piel is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Abrigo walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Piel lands a hard jab.  
Abrigo tries to land a cross, but Piel slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Abrigo closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Piel is looking to keep his distance and connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Piel tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Piel finds the target with a jab.  
Abrigo is on target with a jab.  
Piel tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Piel throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Piel is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Piel hits home with a cross.  
Piel lands with a spiteful jab.  
Piel is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Piel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Piel switches the action to the outside and connects with a potent cross.  ABRIGO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Abrigo quickly recovers. 
Piel hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Piel lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Abrigo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Piel is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Abrigo's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Abrigo's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Abrigo's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Abrigo gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Piel blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Abrigo is on target with a stinging cross.  
Piel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Piel throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.

Piel is on target with a FEARSOME left uppercut.  ABRIGO IS HURT!  Piel throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Abrigo is looking to close the distance.  Piel senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Piel lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS ABRIGO TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Piel!
