Neper Higuera vs Mahir Salaam

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Croke Park, Dublin,  taking place on 14/07/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neper Higuera (27(24) - 1(1)) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Mahir Salaam(27(3) - 9(1) - 2) from Shamkir, Azerbaijan.  Both Higuera and Salaam weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan McCorquodale, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Rafferty, Gareth Byrne and John Hyland.

Salaam walks Higuera onto the ropes.  Higuera whips in a mean left hook to his opponents ribs.  SALAAM IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Salaam now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
