Sagaz Gabriel vs Eloy Ponce

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Basque Country promoted show at Bilbao Terrones, Bilbao,  taking place on 03/07/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Basque Country Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sagaz Gabriel (19(5) - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Bilbao, Spain and Eloy Ponce(12 - 22(6) - 4) from Bilbao, Spain.  Both Gabriel and Ponce weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Campoverde, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Checo, Vicente Bustamante and Porfio Salas.  

Round 1: 

Gabriel closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Gabriel lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gabriel is on target with a right uppercut to Ponce's body.  Gabriel holds on to his opponent.  Gabriel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Gabriel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gabriel lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Gabriel lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Gabriel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ponce hits home with a left hook.  
Gabriel closes the distance and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Gabriel lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gabriel has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a slight cut above.  
Ponce is looking to close the distance and forces Gabriel to back into the ropes.  Gabriel connects with a right uppercut.  
Gabriel is on target with a left uppercut to Ponce's liver.  
Gabriel lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gabriel gets on the inside.  Gabriel drives a left hook into Ponce's body.  Ponce wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gabriel dabs at his face checking for damage.  Gabriel has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Gabriel lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Gabriel ties up his opponent.  Gabriel uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ponce behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gabriel lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Ponce throws a right hook, but Gabriel ties up his opponent.  Gabriel pushes his forearm into Ponce's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gabriel to stop fouling.  
Gabriel lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gabriel hits home with a left uppercut.  
Gabriel cuts off the ring, trapping Ponce in the corner.  Gabriel is on target with a right uppercut.  
Gabriel lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.
