John Tacazon vs Chris Mahinay

Boxing Daily Report from the Obodom Promotions promoted show at Antonio Alingog Gym, Gingoog,  taking place on 02/07/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Tacazon (2 - 5 - 3) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Chris Mahinay(10 - 6(2) - 4) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Tacazon and Mahinay weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fausto Brasil, and the three ringside judges are Jose De Anda, Jose Maybituin and Tajo Lagasca.  

Round 1: 

Mahinay is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Tacazon steps away from his opponent.  Mahinay hits home with a cross.

Tacazon steps to the outside.  Mahinay sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Mahinay is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Tacazon in the blue corner.  Tacazon attempts to land a right hook, but Mahinay blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mahinay is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Tacazon's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Mahinay gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Tacazon.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Mahinay walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tacazon is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Tacazon hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mahinay advances into close range.  Tacazon attempts to land a left hook, but Mahinay parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
