Daiki Maekawa vs Hikaru Yokoyama

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Hakodate Furuya, Hakodate,  taking place on 02/07/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Hokkaido Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daiki Maekawa (23(5) - 2 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Hikaru Yokoyama(9 - 3) from Hakodate, Japan.  Both Maekawa and Yokoyama weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nori Itoh, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Sera, Eiji Suzuki and Eiji Tanabe.  

Round 1: 

Maekawa drives a stinging left hook into Yokoyama's ribs.
