Jay-Jay Nwabili vs Elderson Akpan

Boxing Daily Report from the Chirambo Promotions promoted show at Kano Ahmadi, Kano,  taking place on 28/06/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay-Jay Nwabili (28 - 17(1) - 2) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Elderson Akpan(6 - 1) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Nwabili and Akpan weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theophilus Adeniran, and the three ringside judges are Theophilus Adeniran, Efe Adadevoh and Rehan Pasha.  

Round 1: 

Akpan connects with a cross.
