Xavion Merced vs Vicente Siles

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Bolivar promoted show at Cartagena Tristan, Cartagena,  taking place on 23/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Colombia-Bolivar Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavion Merced (27 - 7) who hails from Cartagena, Colombia and Vicente Siles(29 - 11 - 3) from Cartagena, Colombia.  Merced weighed in at 147 pounds, while Siles weighed in at 146 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Cabezas, and the three ringside judges are Juan Baez, Fidel Canizales and Carlos Trillo.
