Baldev Gupta vs Kalidas Nallakannu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-West Bengal promoted show at Kolkata Bidhuri, Kolkata,  taking place on 22/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-West Bengal Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Baldev Gupta (8 - 18(5) - 3) who hails from Howrah, India and Kalidas Nallakannu(8(7) - 3(1)) from Kolkata, India.  Both Gupta and Nallakannu weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hemant Dyal, and the three ringside judges are Gurudas Tewari, Devdas Bahri and Vijay Bajwa.  

Round 1: 

Nallakannu lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Nallakannu connects with a mean cross.  GUPTA IS HURT!  Gupta recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Nallakannu steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Nallakannu lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Nallakannu holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Nallakannu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gupta steps away from his opponent.  Nallakannu throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Gupta time to recover.  
Nallakannu closes the distance.  Gupta pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nallakannu lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Gupta quickly recovers. 
Nallakannu digs in a right uppercut to Gupta's body.  
Nallakannu walks his opponent into a corner.  Nallakannu lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Nallakannu digs in a right hook to Gupta's ribcage.  
Nallakannu lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Nallakannu throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Nallakannu holds on to his opponent.  Gupta is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Gupta and breaks the clinch.  
Nallakannu pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nallakannu connects with a firm left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gupta's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Gupta's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Nallakannu is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Nallakannu cuts off the ring, trapping Gupta in the blue corner.  Nallakannu feints a left, and then lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a cross to the head, AND DROPS GUPTA TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Nallakannu!
