Montenegro Galano vs Gabriel Villanueva

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Buenos Aires promoted show at Kiki Cueva Gym, Mar del Plata,  taking place on 19/06/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-Buenos Aires Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montenegro Galano (21(10) - 7(5) - 2) who hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina and Gabriel Villanueva(25 - 15(1) - 4) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Galano weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces, while Villanueva weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Vilchez, and the three ringside judges are Francisco Travieso, Esteban Villalpando and Diego Pinales.  

Round 1:

Galano is on target with a right hook to Villanueva's ribcage.  Galano clinches his opponent.  Galano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Villanueva tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Galano advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Galano is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE VILLANUEVA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Villanueva recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Galano lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Galano lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Villanueva is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.

IT LOOKS LIKE VILLANUEVA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Galano ties up his opponent.  Galano pushes his forearm into Villanueva's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch. Galano lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  Villanueva now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Villanueva's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Villanueva's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Villanueva's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Villanueva's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Galano gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Galano manouvers Villanueva into the corner.  Galano lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Galano throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Galano lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Galano knows Villanueva is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Galano lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING VILLANUEVA TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Galano!
