Neil Skene vs Juan Cordoba

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 08/08/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Neil Skene (22(15) - 1(1)) who hails from Boston, USA and Juan Cordoba(27(3) - 15(7) - 4) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Both Skene and Cordoba weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Purcell, and the three ringside judges are Max Pont, Charlie Valdivia and Richie Burnes.

Cordoba gets on the inside.  Cordoba pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cordoba is on target with a stinging left hook.  Cordoba attempts to land a right uppercut, but Skene slips the shot and counters with a SAVAGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE CORDOBA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Skene knows Cordoba is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Skene lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS CORDOBA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Cordoba walks Skene down, trapping him on the ropes.  Skene lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS CORDOBA!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Skene is on target with a nasty left hook.  CORDOBA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Skene!
