Syed Nouri vs Brown Akpososo

Boxing Daily Report from the Olokaonyango Promotions promoted show at Robert Achike Gym, Kano,  taking place on 16/06/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Syed Nouri (5 - 3) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Brown Akpososo(15 - 12(1) - 5) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Nouri and Akpososo weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ollie Mbachu, and the three ringside judges are Theophilus Adeniran, Efe Adadevoh and Lukman Aderemi.  

Round 1: 

Nouri gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Akpososo's body.  
Nouri throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Akpososo lands a left hook.  Akpososo tries to land a jab, but Nouri blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

As they grapple, Nouri pushes his forearm into Akpososo's face.  The ref breaks Nouri's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Akpososo goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Nouri's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Akpososo lands a left hook.  
Akpososo steps inside.  Nouri quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Akpososo is on target with a left uppercut.
