Mick Purvis vs Alejandro Rebollar

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego,  taking place on 18/07/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mick the Beast Purvis (18(16) - 1(1)) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Alejandro Rebollar(26(9) - 6(1)) from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina.  Purvis weighed in at 115 pounds, while Rebollar weighed in at 114 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Keay, and the three ringside judges are Dale Slaight, Noah Denoon and Bart Craw.  

Round 1: 

Rebollar steps inside.  Purvis hits home with a right hook.  
Purvis connects with a cross.  
Purvis tries to keep the action at long range.  Rebollar lands a jab to the head, an overhand left to the head and a cross to the body.  
Rebollar steps inside and lands a left uppercut.  Rebollar attempts to land a left hook, but Purvis blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Purvis lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Purvis throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.

He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  Rebollar now seems to have got his legs back.  
Purvis tries to keep the action at long range.  Purvis drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Rebollar strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Purvis lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Rebollar is looking to close the distance.  Purvis lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Purvis pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Rebollar forces Purvis to retreat onto the ropes.  Purvis lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  Purvis throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rebollar lands a solid right hook.  
Rebollar sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rebollar throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Rebollar drives a right uppercut into Purvis's ribcage.  
Purvis lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Purvis steps to the outside.  Rebollar throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.
