Bradley Nixon vs Wayne Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Boise Centre East Ballroom, Boise,  taking place on 15/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bradley Nixon (14 - 2(2)) who hails from Swansea, UK and Wayne Diaz(7 - 0) from Austin, USA.  Both Nixon and Diaz weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Hosick, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Lyell, Sam Summerfield and Malcolm Lyell.  

Round 1: 

Nixon tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  
Nixon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Diaz steps inside.  Diaz sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nixon digs in a sharp right hook to Diaz's body.  
Diaz steps inside.  Nixon throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Nixon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nixon pushes his forearm into Diaz's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nixon to stop fouling.  
Nixon switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Nixon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Diaz hits home with an overhand right.
