Boris Kurbanov vs Georgiy Nadzhafov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Tajikistan-Sughd promoted show at Khujand Saidi, Khujand,  taking place on 09/06/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Tajikistan-Sughd Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Varzish TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Boris Kurbanov (15 - 17(1) - 3) who hails from Khujand, Tajikistan and Georgiy Nadzhafov(10(7) - 1) from Konibodom, Tajikistan.  Both Kurbanov and Nadzhafov weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Musa Rasizade, and the three ringside judges are Konstantin Cajrbeckow, Farahim Usman and Aleksei Nadirov.  

Round 1:

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Nadzhafov walks Kurbanov into the red corner.  Nadzhafov is looking to force the stoppage!  Nadzhafov crashes a hurtful left hook to Kurbanov's liver.  KURBANOV IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Kurbanov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
