Shayan Sharif vs Malvolio Velazquez

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego,  taking place on 11/07/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shayan Omar Sharif (50(48) - 1(1)) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Malvolio Velazquez(17 - 12(9) - 1) from La Paz, Bolivia.  Both Sharif and Velazquez weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Downey, and the three ringside judges are Alec Lochridge, Dillon Yeoman and Peter Spang.  

Round 1: 

Sharif is on target with a sharp overhand right.

Velazquez gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Sharif throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sharif steps away from his opponent and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Velazquez quickly recovers. 
Sharif lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sharif lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Velazquez almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Velazquez feints a jab, but Sharif ignores the feint and is on target with a cross.  
Sharif steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sharif lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Sharif finds the target with a jab.  
Velazquez gets on the inside and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Sharif sidesteps and counters with a WICKED right hook.  VELAZQUEZ WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Velazquez quickly recovers. 
Velazquez gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Sharif connects with a left hook.  
Velazquez pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sharif digs in a right hook to Velazquez's body.  
Sharif lands a sharp right hook.  Sharif tries to land a right hook, but Velazquez sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Sharif steps away from his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  Sharif throws an overhand left, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sharif's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Velazquez's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate. Velazquez attempts to land a jab, but Sharif slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Velazquez is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but Sharif clinches his opponent.  Velazquez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sharif is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Sharif is on target with a jab.  
Sharif lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Sharif attempts to land a cross, but Velazquez sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.
