Joel Berwick vs Paul McPhillips

Boxing Daily Report from the Agyemang Promotions promoted show at Charlotte Yi, Charlotte,  taking place on 05/06/2035:

Clearly Agyemang Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Berwick (13 - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Paul McPhillips(4 - 15(4) - 2) from Raleigh, USA.  Both Berwick and McPhillips weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Corson, and the three ringside judges are Joel Richard, Dave Jernigan and Ethan Easton.  

Round 1: 

Berwick steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  McPhillips steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  McPhillips is on target with a cross.  
Berwick tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land an overhand left, but McPhillips sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
