Morgan Kopernik vs Gregor Hughson

Boxing Daily Report from the Kugblenu Promotions promoted show at Detroit Havard, Detroit,  taking place on 04/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Morgan Kopernik (2 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Detroit, USA and Gregor Hughson(22(1) - 6(1)) from Warren, USA.  Both Kopernik and Hughson weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jacob Herritt, and the three ringside judges are Chris Pakkarinen, Amon Watters and Nick McGowan.  

Round 1: 

Kopernik is looking to close the distance.  Hughson pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Hughson connects with a left uppercut.  
Hughson gets on the inside and manouvers Kopernik into a corner.  Hughson is on target with a left uppercut.  
Hughson advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hughson is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hughson advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Hughson walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Hughson lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hughson is looking to close the distance.  Hughson pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hughson throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Hughson holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hughson pushes his forearm into Kopernik's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Hughson pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hughson cuts off the ring, trapping Kopernik in the corner.  Hughson connects with a cross.  
Hughson is on target with a cross.  
Hughson closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Hughson is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hughson lands a right hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body.  
Kopernik gets on the inside.  Hughson lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hughson pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  As Kopernik tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Hughson has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused nasty swelling  around the left eye.  
Hughson is looking to close the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Hughson forces Kopernik to retreat into a corner.  Hughson is on target with a right uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hughson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hughson throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Hughson clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hughson pushes his forearm into Kopernik's face.  The referee warns Hughson and breaks the clinch.  
Hughson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kopernik is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hughson throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
