Ewan Bungu vs Phornello Kathrada

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 30/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Bungu (17 - 17(1) - 3) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Phornello Kathrada(15 - 5 - 1) from Soweto, South Africa.  Bungu weighed in at 126 pounds, while Kathrada weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Voshon Adams, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Strydom, Bernardus Hertzog and Isaac Chohan.
