Tariq Namey vs Imran Malki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jordan-Irbid promoted show at Irbid Akkad, Irbid,  taking place on 01/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Jordan-Irbid Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on JTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Namey (11 - 13 - 1) who hails from Irbid, Jordan and Imran Malki(7(6) - 0) from Irbid, Jordan.  Namey weighed in at 147 pounds, while Malki weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mohsin Youssef, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Alavi, Mohsin Youssef and Zain Karam.

Malki lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Malki cuts off the ring, trapping Namey on the ropes.  Malki lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Malki hits home with a sharp cross.  
Malki lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Namey steps inside.  Malki drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Malki digs in a firm left uppercut to Namey's body.  
Malki lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Malki gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Malki gets on the inside.  Malki pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Malki lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Malki is on target with a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Namey's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Namey's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Malki advances into close range.  Namey throws a left hook, but Malki ties up his opponent.  Malki is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Malki's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Malki lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Malki lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Malki is on target with a jab.  
Malki steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Malki is looking to close the distance.  Malki thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Namey away.  Malki lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head, AND DOWN GOES NAMEY!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Namey now seems to have got his legs back.  
Malki lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Malki thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Namey away.  Malki digs in a potent right hook to Namey's ribs.  NAMEY IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Namey now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Malki sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Malki circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Namey is on target with a cross.  
Namey is looking to close the distance.  Namey sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Malki connects with a right hook.  
Malki is on target with a right uppercut.  
Malki steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Malki drives a potent right hook into Namey's body.  NAMEY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Malki ties up his opponent.  Malki is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Malki and breaks the clinch.  
Malki thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Namey away.  Malki lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS NAMEY TO THE CANVAS!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Malki!
