Jerrold Lobo vs Xavier Vara

Boxing Daily Report from the Bungu Promotions promoted show at Gabriel Reyes Gym, Nuevo Laredo,  taking place on 30/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jerrold Lobo (7 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Xavier Vara(4 - 9 - 1) from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  Both Lobo and Vara weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xavier Alverez, and the three ringside judges are Edmundo Naranjo, Angel Albo and Juan Alvarez.  

Round 1: 

Vara steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Lobo closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Vara hits home with a right uppercut.
