Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 16/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Houp (24(12) - 13(9) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Joel Malcomb(26(6) - 8(3) - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Houp and Malcomb weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Sharifi, and the three ringside judges are Mark Taggert, John Taggart and Johnny Omans.  

Round 1:
