Matt Yegon vs Mark Kirochi

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Lavaughn Kimutai Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/05/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Yegon (21(1) - 12 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Mark Kirochi(14 - 6 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Yegon and Kirochi weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Birir, and the three ringside judges are Rehan Abed, Yobachi Rubia and Sulaiman Saitot.  

Round 1: 

Yegon lands a solid jab.
