Khalid Aman vs Chiamaka Korir

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kahiu, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalid Aman (13 - 13(1) - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Chiamaka Korir(27(1) - 12) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Aman and Korir weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Arusei, and the three ringside judges are LeBron Naikuni, Elliot Lumumba and Richie Bitok.  

Round 1: 

Aman lands a jab.  
Korir throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Korir holds on to his opponent.  Aman pushes his forearm into Korir's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Aman about fouling.  
Korir steps inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to Aman's body.  
Korir manages to force Aman into the blue corner.  Korir drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Korir is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Korir.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Aman attempts to land a left hook, but Korir sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aman's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Aman's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Aman's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
