Sargent Bernardis vs Wayne Spens

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 16/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sargent Bernardis (7 - 0) who hails from Nimes, France and Wayne Spens(2 - 0) from Vancouver, Canada.  Bernardis weighed in at 234 pounds and 4 ounces, while Spens weighed in at 232 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Granger Hinault, and the three ringside judges are Varocher Painchaud, Brendan Aitken and Granger Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Bernardis steps inside.  Spens throws a left hook, but Bernardis ties up his opponent.  Bernardis pushes his forearm into Spens's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bernardis about fouling.

Bernardis throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Bernardis's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bernardis pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Spens steps to the outside.  Bernardis is on target with a cross.
