Kris Tyre vs Lloyd Cargill

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Auckland Stevenson, Auckland,  taking place on 27/05/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kris Tyre (13 - 10(1) - 5) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Lloyd Cargill(20(11) - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Tyre weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces, while Cargill weighed in at 167 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Smillie, and the three ringside judges are Justin Kahukakanui, James Woodburn and Kahorere Hakaipari.  

Round 1: 

Cargill feints a jab, and then connects with an overhand right.  
Cargill gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Cargill walks Tyre down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Cargill throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Cargill holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cargill pushes his forearm into Tyre's face.  The ref breaks Cargill's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Cargill lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tyre throws a right hook, but Cargill clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cargill pushes his forearm into Tyre's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cargill.

Cargill gets on the inside.  Cargill is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Cargill pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tyre closes the distance.  Cargill attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Tyre to the neutral corner.  He warns Cargill that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.  
Cargill steps inside.  Cargill lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
