Valentino Palomba vs Vico Maffeo

Boxing Daily Report from the Gyan Promotions promoted show at Antonio Schettini Gym, Messina,  taking place on 25/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valentino Palomba (11 - 9 - 5) who hails from Messina, Italy and Vico Maffeo(10 - 14 - 3) from Catania, Italy.  Both Palomba and Maffeo weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roberto Riva, and the three ringside judges are Rocco Galati, Fabrizio Valdifiori and Mauro Cavallari.

Palomba is on target with a right hook.

Palomba pivots from in front of his opponent.  Palomba goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Maffeo to the neutral corner.  He warns Palomba to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.

Maffeo advances into close range.  Palomba quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Palomba attempts to land a left uppercut, but Maffeo sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
