Richie Markin vs Leighton Hackett

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Mansfield Tavern, Brisbane,  taking place on 27/06/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richie Markin (8(5) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Leighton Hackett(8 - 2 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Markin weighed in at 199 pounds And 8 ounces, while Hackett weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Moultrie, and the three ringside judges are Rob Gollon, Rob Gollon and Ian MacConnell.  

Round 1: 

Markin digs in a firm left hook to Hackett's liver.

Markin lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND HACKETT IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Hackett now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
