Juan Tobar vs Vicente Puentes

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu Promotions promoted show at Medellin Portalatin, Medellin,  taking place on 19/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Antioquia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Tobar (12 - 23 - 8) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Vicente Puentes(17 - 13 - 3) from Itagui, Colombia.  Both Tobar and Puentes weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vidal Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Rio Porro, Marco Alegre and Pancho Toribio.  

Round 1: 

Puentes lands a left uppercut.  
Tobar hits home with a cross.  
Puentes gets on the inside.  Tobar lands a left hook.  
Tobar lands a right hook.  
Tobar pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Puentes's body.  
Puentes attempts to land a cross, but Tobar sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Tobar pivots from in front of his opponent.  Puentes digs in a left hook to Tobar's ribs.  
Tobar is on target with a right hook.  
Puentes closes the distance and walks Tobar onto the ropes.  Tobar connects with a left hook.  
Puentes is looking to close the distance.  Puentes pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  As Tobar tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Puentes dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tobar's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Puentes's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Tobar sidesteps to the left of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tobar dabs at his face checking for damage.
