Sid Bagdazarian vs Rob Cavanah

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Boxing Federation promoted show at Melbourne MacQueen, Melbourne,  taking place on 19/05/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Bagdazarian (12(7) - 1(1)) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Rob Cavanah(12 - 25(2) - 5) from Melbourne, Australia.  Bagdazarian weighed in at 167 pounds and 4 ounces, while Cavanah weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Callum Mairs, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Mun, Ian Suit and Jake Denniston.  

Round 1: 

Bagdazarian tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Bagdazarian throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bagdazarian switches the action to the outside.  Bagdazarian feints a left hook, but Cavanah is not fooled and responds with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bagdazarian lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Cavanah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bagdazarian lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Bagdazarian feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Cavanah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bagdazarian connects with a cross.  
Cavanah steps inside.  Bagdazarian drives a firm right hook into Cavanah's body.  
Cavanah advances into close range.  Bagdazarian lands a left uppercut.  
Bagdazarian steps away from his opponent and is on target with a sharp cross.  Bagdazarian attempts to land an overhand right, but Cavanah parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bagdazarian switches the action to the outside and drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Bagdazarian tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a stinging overhand left.  
Bagdazarian steps to the outside.  Bagdazarian feints a left hook, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Cavanah gets on the inside.  Bagdazarian is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Cavanah advances into close range.  Bagdazarian quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Bagdazarian switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Cavanah gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Bagdazarian lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Bagdazarian knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Bagdazarian lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a cross to the head, AND DOWN GOES CAVANAH!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Cavanah now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Bagdazarian connects with a solid right hook.  
Bagdazarian tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cavanah's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cavanah's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Cavanah's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Bagdazarian tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bagdazarian lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Bagdazarian steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Bagdazarian EXPLODES a BRUTAL cross into his opponents face.  CAVANAH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cavanah quickly recovers. 
Cavanah gets on the inside.  Bagdazarian lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Bagdazarian steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
The right shot from Bagdazarian could be enough to force the stoppage!  Bagdazarian lands a left uppercut, right hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS CAVANAH TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Cavanah gets on the inside.  Bagdazarian tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  It looks like Cavanah has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Bagdazarian connects with a firm overhand right.  
Bagdazarian lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Bagdazarian is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a firm cross.  
Bagdazarian is on target with a big overhand right.  CAVANAH IS HURT!  
Cavanah is looking to close the distance.  Bagdazarian senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Cavanah and just needs the right shot.  Bagdazarian lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND CAVANAH IS DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Bagdazarian!
