Duncan Mickle vs Dave Osmond

Boxing Daily Report from the Mainza Promotions promoted show at Middlesbrough MacKenzie, Middlesbrough,  taking place on 17/05/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Mickle (16(4) - 7 - 1) who hails from Wakefield, UK and Dave Osmond(11 - 7(1) - 2) from Middlesbrough, UK.  Both Mickle and Osmond weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Obeid, and the three ringside judges are Tony Ferris, Kai Comrie and Iain McClure.  

Round 1: 

Mickle drives a stinging left uppercut into Osmond's ribs.  
Osmond feints a cross, and then tries to land a jab, but Mickle slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Osmond steps away from his opponent.  Mickle lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mickle steps inside.  Osmond sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mickle lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Osmond steps away from his opponent.  Mickle lands a sharp jab.  
Osmond hits home with a cross.  
Mickle connects with a stinging right hook.  
Osmond is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mickle is on target with a jab.  
Mickle is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Osmond throws a right hook, but Mickle holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Mickle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Mickle advances into close range.  Mickle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Osmond's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Osmond's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Mickle manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Mickle sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Osmond's body.

Mickle steps inside and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Mickle pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by two right uppercut's to the head.  
Mickle lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Mickle tries to land a right uppercut, but Osmond parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Osmond's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Osmond's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
