Brad Beaulac vs Sam Mickel

Boxing Daily Report from the Ssali Promotions promoted show at The Paradise Room Pleasure Beach, Blackpool,  taking place on 17/05/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brad Beaulac (23(11) - 2 - 1) who hails from Blackburn, UK and Sam Mickel(12 - 5(3) - 2) from Bradford, UK.  Beaulac weighed in at 154 pounds, while Mickel weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Apted, and the three ringside judges are Peter MacQuarrie, Joey Burn and Chris Murphy.  

Round 1: 

Mickel connects with a left hook.  
Beaulac steps inside.  Beaulac quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Beaulac digs in a sharp left hook to Mickel's liver.  Beaulac holds on to his opponent. Beaulac advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Beaulac clinches his opponent.  Beaulac leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mickel is on target with a right hook.  
Beaulac lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  Beaulac ties up his opponent.  Beaulac is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Beaulac's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Beaulac slams a DESTRUCTIVE left uppercut into Mickel's ribs.  MICKEL IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Beaulac!
